ஜப்பானில் உயர்க் கல்வி

MEXT (Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology of Japan) offers scholarships to international students who wish to study in Japan at a specialised training college (three years), a college of technology (four years) and a university (undergraduate level, five years).

For eligibility, candidates must have been born between April 1994 -1999 and completed twelve years of school education. They will be requested to sit for an examination at the premises of the Consulate-General of Japan at Chennai.

Japanese language skill is not compulsory for this examination, but candidates must be willing to undergo a one-year intensive training in the language if selected.

The prescribed application form and the outline of the scholarship can be obtained from the Consulate-General of Japan (Culture & Information Department) at 12/1, Cenotaph Road, Teynampet.

The application document has to be submitted no later than June 17, 2015.
