"யாதும் ஊரே, யாவரும் கேளிர், தீதும் நன்றும் பிறர்தர வாரா, நோதலும் தணிதலும் அவற்றோ ரன்ன". To us all towns are one, all men our kin, Life's good comes not from others' gifts, nor ill, Man's pains and pain's relief are from within.

Exprience:DropBox
While exploring about DropBox functionality, I was astounded by syncing feature, which syncs files across several computers in real time at ease.
The Basic user limit is 2 GB (free). For Subsequent usage, there are different price plan.
Added to this, if our referral friend sign ups and install dropbox in his pc, both of us would get 250 MB additional space.
Drop Box, initially itself segregates into frequently used folders
a) Public - All the files kept will be visible to everypone.
b) Photos - All the photos kept inside a folder, could be seen as a gallery with folder name as the title of the gallery, this gallery link could be given to our friends for viewing.
c) Shared - Files which, u would want to share with others.
Also it has released application to most of the devices and apis for developers.
Syncing rocks!!!!!

CEO's (of J.P Morgan) Fantastic reply to a Pretty Girl
_______________________________________________________________
A young and pretty lady posted this on a popular forum: Title: What should I do to marry a rich guy? I'm going to be honest of what I'm going to say here. I'm 25 this year. I'm very pretty, have style and good taste. I wish to marry a guy with $500k annual salary or above. You might say that I'm greedy, but an annual salary of $1M is considered only as middle class in New York My requirement is not high. Is there anyone in this forum who has an income of $500k annual salary? Are you all married? I wanted to ask: what should I do to marry rich persons like you? Among those I've dated, the richest is $250k annual income, and it seems that this is my upper limit. If someone is going to move into high cost residential area on the west of New York CityGarden(? ), $250k annual income is not enough.
I'm here humbly to ask a few questions: 1) Where do most rich bachelors hang out? (Please list down the names and addresses of bars, restaurant, gym) 2) Which age group should I target? 3) Why most wives of the riches is only average-looking? I've met a few girls who doesn't have looks & are not interesting, but they are able to marry rich guys 4) How do you decide who can be your wife, & who can only be your girlfriend? (my target now is to get married)
Ms. Pretty

Awesome reply:
Dear Ms. Pretty,
I have read your post with great interest. Guess there are lots of girls out there who have similar questions like yours. Please allow me to analyse your situation as a professional investor. My annual income is more than $500k, which meets your requirement, so I hope everyone believes that I'm not wasting time here. From the standpoint of a business person, it is a bad decision to marry you. The answer is very simple, so let me explain. Put the details aside, what you're trying to do is an exchange of "beauty" and "money": Person A provides beauty, and Person B pays for it, fair and square. However, there's a deadly problem here, your beauty will fade, but my money will not be gone without any good reason. The fact is, my income might increase from year to year, but you can't be prettier year after year. Hence from the viewpoint of economics, I am an appreciation asset, and you are a depreciation asset. It's not just normal depreciation, but exponential depreciation. If that is your only asset, your value will be much worried 10 years later.
By the terms we use in Wall Street, every trading has a position, dating with you is also a "trading position". If the trade value dropped we will sell it and it is not a good idea to keep it for long term - same goes with the marriage that you wanted. It might be cruel to say this, but in order to make a wiser decision any assets with great depreciation value will be sold or "leased". Anyone with over $500k annual income is not a fool; we would only date you, but will not marry you. I would advice that you forget looking for any clues to marry a rich guy. And by the way, you could make yourself to become a rich person with $500k annual income.. This has better chance than finding a rich fool.
Hope this reply helps. If you are interested in "leasing" services, do contact me...
signed,
CEO J.P. Morgan

Experience: Train Journey
While discussing casually about train journeys encountered, I heard my colleague incident about boarding a train in a remote location during very late night times. He narrated that, during night times, in most of the coaches, they would lock the doors, this makes life difficult for people boarding the train, since they have to knock doors in all the coaches for a opening, added to this the train halts for only five minutes.

Reading:Intellectual Property Of India
I came across a disturbing article regarding Gene Theft Of Rice, with MS Swaminathan involved in the scandal.

Reading: NPR -- National Population Register
Today, I stumbled across an article regarding census process that has been undertaken by Indian Govt, for enumerating every indian.
General essential things an Indian should have, if we are citizen of India.
a) Ration Card [ Foremost important thing, without this it is difficult to get any govt benefits or fill any govt application] Even if we are not using it for buying thing. MUST
b) License Card -- MUST
c) Voter Id Card -- MUST
d) Passport -- MUST
e) Birth Certificate -- To my knowledge , it has been made mandatory for persons born after 26 th January 1989. This issue arises when applying for passport -- MUST
f) PAN card - if needed
Most of the items specified have inderdependencies.
Miscellaneous
g) Having Post Office Account -- Pass Book can come in handy some where
h) Having a bank account in Public Sector Bank . Better to start a minor account for children at earlier stage.
i) Having a BSNL landline telephone connection -- Only Public Telephone bill is accepted as proof.
Some time back, I heard we can use the post man authentication for address proof.
In order to streamline all this verification, our govt have come up with UIDAI (Aadhaar), for this NPR data is been used.
http://www.censusindia.gov.in/ gives the comphrensive view of NPR.
Do read the NPR application form, since these datas are permanent, difficult change after once written.
Having laminated photocopy of some id proof in our wallet helps in identification during unforseen event.

Quotes: I came across
அடுத்தத் தேர்தலைப் பற்றி சிந்திப்பவன் அரசியல்வாதி...
அடுத்த தலைமுறைப் பற்றி சிந்திப்பவன் தான் தலைவன்!
Thought: 30 Day Project
30 Day Project , this is first post about my personal thought that I experience or came across my life. This idea originated after reading Matt Cutt blog, further blossomed by Stephen Covey "The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People".
Most of the things, which we consider as childish, or easy, are hard to implement. Eg I tried out reading 20 lines from some book daily, which i was not able to continue more than three days. But then and there, i try read some book, trying to make it as a routine, since books or paper or information chest like internet gives us different perspective altogether.
I think we should take simple things, to make ourself believe we would be able to do. Many of the insipiration quote, which grace through our life, are nice at that moment, but when we think about following, we discard it as it is not practical, not giving a try.
After this idea, i try to give a shot once, not withholding the shot thinking about the outcome. Since no harm will occur to us by trying.
Actually this is also a 30 Day Project, expressing myself daily through this blog. Let see how much I would be able to express myself.
